About New Jersey

Historic attractions, beaches, and excitement are characteristic of a New Jersey vacation. Bordered by the state of New York on the north, Pennsylvania on the west, Delaware on the southwest, and the Atlantic Ocean on the east, New Jersey is in good company. Parts of New Jersey even lie within the metropolitan areas of New York and Philadelphia. But the vacation destinations surrounding New Jersey don't take away the charm of the state of New Jersey. The wonderful mixture of past and present, reflection and action make the state of New Jersey an attractive vacation package too hot to miss. The city of Newark offers its share of attractions. These include the Newark Museum, with an extensive fine art collection. The Newark Gateway area is also home to Jersey City with the Liberty State Park featuring the Liberty Science Center as well as hiking and biking trails.

The New Jersey Shore is made up of 127 miles of beaches with immense beauty and plenty of white sand. While fun in the sand is complemented by excitement on the famous New Jersey boardwalks such as the Wildwood, Atlantic City on the New Jersey Shore is home to casinos and night life. The beautiful barrier islands off the New Jersey Shore contribute to the excitement. Art lovers must visit the city of Asbury Park that's the hometown of Bruce Springsteen as well as home to a vibrant arts scene. The Skylands region is also home to great skiing action. The attractions are truly varied in New Jersey, and New Jersey vacation rentals lead you to them.
